M2-Tone is a herbal formulation marketed by Charak. It is indicated in PCOS, menstrual disorders such as Dysfunctional-Uterine-Bleeding (DUB) and other types of infertility. It contains herbs and salts that correct the hypothalamus-pituitary-ovarian axis, thereby regulating the hormones responsible for ovulation and menstruation. It nourishes the endometrium and supports conception. It is sold both in syrup and tablet form.
Treatment Protocol
For women with PCOS, M2-Tone helps in restoring ovulation, correcting the length of the luteal-phase and regulating the levels of estrogen. A good treatment protocol should consider 10-15 ml of the syrup or 1-2 viagra cialis online pharmacy pharmacy twice a day post meals for about 6 months. When taken in conjunction with home-remedies like Fenugreek, Tulsi, Amla, a healthy diet, detoxification procedures, regular exercises, it can take about 2-3 months to see positive results. Often with the treatment, absent menstrual cycles start recurring with a 45-60 day periodicity and gradually adjust to a 28-30 day duration. As the menstrual cycles get restored, accompanying problems such as acne, hirsutism, obesity and alopecia disappear. In chronic cases or long-term abuse with hormonal medicines, strong insulin-sensitizing medicines such as Hyponidd or Diabecon may be advisable.
As with any herbal medicine, every effort must be made to keep the required dosage of M2-Tone to a minimum and to avoid burdening the body with excess medication. A physician's advice is suggested when determining the dosage and duration of the treatment. When treated properly, herbal medicines should restore normalcy in the body and should be discontinued thereafter.
